Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A specialty compounding pharmacy in DeBary, FL, is seeking a part-time pharmacist to support its expanding operations, focusing on weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. This contract-to-hire position offers 1-2 days per week with 8-hour shifts, providing flexibility for professionals looking to contribute to a growing business.
Schedule:
1-2 days per week 8-hour shifts within pharmacy hours (8am - 6pm, Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities:
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding and medication verification Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure quality and safety Communicate effectively and collaborate with the pharmacy team Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a proactive attitude Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt Manage multitasking demands efficiently Support initiatives to grow the pharmacy's services
Qualifications and Experience:
Active and clear Florida pharmacist license required Experience in pharmacy compounding, including sterile and non-sterile techniques Knowledge of USP standards 795, 797, and 800 Experience with hormone replacement therapy is preferred but not mandatory New graduates with enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time hours in a specialized, growing pharmacy environment with a focus on compounding.
