Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support a busy location in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a stable workweek with predictable hours. The ideal candidate will have prior retail pharmacy experience and be ready to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications following company and regulatory guidelines Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues Manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and best practices Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
Current and valid Pharmacist license Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical medications and dispensing procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
