06/15/2026 We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications for patients across inpatient and rehab settings. This role supports medication verification, dosing consultation, sterile compounding, and medication counseling as requested. Minimum Requirements:
Current Florida Pharmacist License required. Sterile compounding experience required. Experience with renal dosing, IV to PO conversion, electrolyte management, vancomycin and aminoglycoside dosing, and TPN (Clinimix) dosing preferred. Familiarity with medication verification and antimicrobial de-escalation preferred. Experience using DoseEdge, Pharmacy Stars, VigiLanz, and Meditech Expanse preferred. Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with medical and nursing staff required. Experience overseeing pharmacy technicians preferred. Preferred Qualifications Minimum six months of pharmacist experience preferred. Previous travel pharmacy experience preferred.
Assignment Details Shift hours:
11:30 AM - 8:00 PM.
Unit:
Hospital pharmacy serving a 90-bed facility including 30 inpatient rehab beds. Documentation system: Meditech Expanse. May require closing pharmacist to take call. Impacting Patient Care Nationwide This role supports medication safety and therapy optimization in a hospital setting. Pharmacists contribute to renal dosing, antimicrobial stewardship, TPN management, and bedside medication counseling to improve patient outcomes. Your clinical oversight will support interdisciplinary teams and medication distribution processes.
