Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A growing compounding pharmacy affiliate is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential pharmacist coverage and support for the launch of sterile compounding services. This role is based in Doral, FL, within a dynamic and expanding pharmacy focused on specialized therapies including GLP-1 medications and hormone replacement therapies predominantly for females.
Location:
Doral, FL (coverage also required in Miami/Doral area)
Position Type:
Per Diem (PRN)
Start Date:
Immediate availability preferred, with coverage beginning 9/23 and additional shifts in
October Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws through thorough oversight Support operational workflows during the launch phase of sterile compounding services Review and enhance pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards to maintain excellence Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to optimize pharmaceutical services Provide pharmacist coverage as required during operational hours, ensuring smooth daily functions
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Active Florida Pharmacist License (required) Experience with compounding pharmacy operations, ideally both non-sterile and sterile (preferred) Background working in pharmacy startups is a strong plus Retail pharmacy experience will be considered Willingness to learn and train on compounding techniques if necessary This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing pharmacy's expansion into advanced sterile compounding, working alongside a small, dedicated team supported by a national telehealth pharmacy company.
