Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist to conduct crucial prescription verification tasks on a per diem basis in Jupiter, FL. The position involves ensuring the accuracy and safety of compounded and commercial prescriptions through PV1 and PV2 verification steps prior to fulfillment. This role is ideal for pharmacists experienced in prescription verification who are available for flexible scheduling.
Location:
Jupiter, Florida Schedule:
May 15th to May 17th, with additional per diem dates anticipated 9:00 AM to 5:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial (PV1) and final (PV2) prescription verification for compounded and commercial medications Ensure prescriptions meet safety standards and regulatory requirements before dispensing Collaborate with pharmacy staff to resolve any discrepancies or concerns regarding prescriptions Maintain meticulous records for all verifications conducted
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Proven experience with prescription verification processes, including compounded medications Strong attention to detail with commitment to patient safety Knowledge of regulatory guidelines impacting prescription verification Ability to work independently during per diem assignments This per diem role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise with a flexible schedule.
