Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced pharmacist prepared to work independently in a specialized retail pharmacy setting focused on
HIV/AIDS
care. The role requires managing all pharmacy operations solo, without the assistance of a pharmacy technician, serving approximately 20-30 prescriptions daily. A strong background in
HIV/AIDS
medication dispensing and excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare providers are essential.
Location:
Lake Wales, FL Schedule:
Monday to
Thursday:
8:30 AM - 5:30
PM Friday:
8:30 AM - 12:30
PM Contract Details:
Start Date:
August 24 (includes 2 weeks of training alongside the current PIC)
Duration:
16 weeks total No return-to-office (RTO) days permitted during contract period due to single pharmacist site requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense
HIV/AIDS
medications and manage prescription volume independently Provide high-level patient care and ongoing support Maintain strong, clear communication with patients and healthcare providers Adhere to punctuality and commitment standards for consistent daily attendance Engage positively with staff and patients to foster a supportive environment
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Florida pharmacist license in good standing Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience Demonstrated experience dispensing
HIV/AIDS
medications (even minimal experience must be noted) Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software highly preferred
