Monitor patients' responses to medications, adjusting therapies as needed based on physiology knowledge and patient assessment findings. Manage IV infusion preparations and ensure sterile compounding procedures meet all regulatory standards. Support hospital initiatives related to medication safety, inventory control, managed care protocols, and compliance with hospital policies. Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication use, potential side effects, contraindications, and proper administration techniques to promote safe patient service and care. Skills Extensive hospital experience with a focus on critical care environments such as ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), and emergency rooms. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices essential for effective patient assessment. Proven expertise in managed care processes and post-residency clinical pharmacy experience within hospital settings. Hands-on experience with medication administration, IV infusion preparation, aseptic technique, and pain management protocols. Familiarity with pediatrics (including PICU) and acute pain management strategies tailored to diverse patient populations. Ability to interpret complex medical data quickly while maintaining high standards of patient safety and service excellence.
