Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem pharmacist opportunity in Jupiter, FL offers a focused role in prescription verification to ensure patient safety and accuracy in medication dispensing. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist with strong knowledge in compounded and commercial prescriptions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct PV1 (initial) and PV2 (final) verifications on compounded and commercial prescriptions Ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and safety of medications prior to fulfillment Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with regulations Address and resolve any discrepancies or concerns during the verification process
Qualifications:
Valid pharmacist license with experience in prescription verification Strong understanding of compounded and commercial drug formulations Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
Location:
Jupiter, FL Schedule:
