The hospital holds certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Care center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, and a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and provides a broad spectrum of services including cardiac, vascular, robotic surgery, and women's services. The role. The Clinical Pharmacist provides general clinical and pharmacy services while supervising pharmacy technical staff. Day-to-day responsibilities center on interpreting, verifying, and transcribing orders into the pharmacy system, compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals accurately, and monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing. The pharmacist sustains the hospital formulary by minimizing non-formulary procurements, applying therapeutic interchanges, and supporting rational drug therapy selection. Clinical support responsibilities include drug consults, pharmacokinetic monitoring, anticoagulant management, nutrition support, IV-to-PO conversions, and renal dosing, with all interventions documented completely and medication errors and adverse drug reactions reported through established notification processes. What we're looking for. Minimum 1 year of recent Clinical Pharmacist experience in an acute care hospital setting; acute hospital experience within the last year is required B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy #Workwolf
