The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care, manage pharmacy staff, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and optimizing medication management within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Provide direct patient care through medication counseling, assessments, and administration. Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, including compounding when necessary. Manage pharmacy staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered care plans. Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and patient interactions. Participate in quality assurance programs to enhance service delivery.
License/Certification:
Licensed Pharmacist (Required) Skills Strong background in patient care with a focus on safety and efficacy in medication administration. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, enhancing the ability to cater to younger patients' needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
