This vital role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting patient health outcomes across diverse clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pharmacy practice, excellent patient service skills, and a passion for advancing healthcare through precise medication management and clinical expertise. Pharmacy hours : Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5.30 PM Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately while adhering to all legal and safety regulations, including HIPAA compliance. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy, including pediatrics and critical care cases. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication plans, ensuring optimal medical management for diverse patient populations. Manage inventory effectively, including stock replenishment, medication storage, and proper documentation within pharmacy software systems. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, medication histories, and treatment plans accurately. Assist in training pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures and quality standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current clinical practices to deliver exceptional patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles essential for effective patient assessment and medication management. Proficiency in pharmacy software applications, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR systems for accurate documentation. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately. Familiarity with inventory management practices to ensure medication availability while minimizing waste. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
