Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacist position is available in an outpatient infusion center pharmacy, supporting a patient population with a significant focus on oncology care. This role emphasizes dispensing and managing chemotherapy medications and other infusion therapies, making experience in oncology and chemotherapy a valuable asset.
Location:
Winter Haven, FL Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shifts
Contract Details:
Immediate start 13-week assignment with potential to transition to permanent employment
Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare, dispense, and verify medications, including chemotherapy and other infusion treatments Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapy management for oncology patients Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medication use, side effects, and supportive care strategies Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, safety protocols, and documentation standards Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of specialized oncology agents
Desired Experience:
