We are seeking a Georgia state registered Pharmacist to join our fantastic team at an independent community pharmacy in Athens, Georgia. Candidates must be available to work a part-time and prn schedule and share limited On-call responsibilities. Our team is committed to providing access and improving quality of care. As a Staff Pharmacist, you have a critical role in modeling our values and demonstrating timely and compassionate care for our patients. In addition to leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and Pharmacists, you are accountable for the management, oversight, and operations of all aspects of the pharmacy.

Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management A key component of the Staff Pharmacist's role is keeping our customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. Additionally, you will: Set priorities to maximize contribution, execute daily tasks, support the team, and build rapport with customers and associates. Provide best-in-class pharmacy service to patients by empowering our staff to provide value and service through counseling, building personalized relationships, promoting customer loyalty, and offering pharmacist-led clinical services to improve health and wellness and preventative care through services available at AIP. Inspire a team culture of excellence, encourage innovative problem-solving, and hold team members accountable. Provide enthusiasm for all new pharmacy initiatives at your assigned location. Manage team performance, such as prescription promised time, by assigning tasks to ensure complex operational activities are met in a timely and efficient manner in the absence of the pharmacist-in-charge. Use best practices to make sound business decisions while covering as the pharmacist-on-duty. Be regarded as an expert on the pharmacy technology system QS1, and how it is used for both routine and complex prescription processing. Mentor staff on AIP pharmacy best practices to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage while meeting customers' needs. Proactively advance pharmacy clinical initiatives, including Medication Therapy Management (MTM), immunizations, and diabetes management. Maintain a flexible work-week schedule to meet our customers' needs. Assist in all other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA) No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances Preferred Qualifications Three years or more of retail pharmacy experience. Three years or more of compounding experience One year or more of 797 Compliance Experience as a Preceptor Education Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
