- Part-time, Full-time Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacist, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and safety.
Qualifications Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited instituion.
Licensure:
Active Pharmacist license in the State of Georgia License must be in good standing with no disciplinary Actions. Certification (if applicable):CPR/BLS MTM
(Optional)Immunization Experience:
Retail Pharmacy experience preferred New Graduates also welcome Duties Dispense prescribed medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and retail pharmacy policies Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify medication therapy plans if required Supervise pharmacy technicians in the preparing and dispensing of medications Maintain accurate medication inventory records and management of pharmacy systems Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate medication dosages and administration routes Provide expert guidance on medication interactions, contraindications, and physiology-related considerations for diverse patient populations Educate patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and safety precautions to enhance adherence and outcomes Manage pharmacy operations including workflow and staff supervision Improve business revenue and profitability and grow business Manage accurate records and handle inventory control to minimize waste Skills and Competencies Proficiency with Pharmacy software system Able to resolve daily operational issues Strong communication skills for patients and providers Basic inventory management Flexibility to assist with non-clinical tasks Requirements Resume/CV Copy of Pharmacist License for verification References Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to advancing patient health through expert pharmacy practice.
