Job Description

Overview Supervises and monitors pharmacy personnel as assigned by the department director including daily operations. Responsible for staff development and performance management for all pharmacy staff. Performs all duties of registered Pharmacist, including Patient focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital providing patients with optimal medication therapy as well as Nutritional Support clinical activities to provide patients with optimal therapy. Serves to evaluate, implement and support pharmacy information systems and integrated applications. Verifies that end users are adequately trained on applications and assures they demonstrate continued competence on such. Serves as a professional consultant to physicians, nurses, and other health care staff. Qualifications Education Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy Required and Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Required Master's degree in Pharmacy Preferred or Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Pharmacy Preferred Work Experience 2 years hospital pharmacy experience Required Licenses and Certifications RPH - Registered Pharmacist Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of
