This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, effective medication management, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in pharmacy practices and patient assessment, along with exceptional leadership skills. Responsibilities Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Oversee medication dispensing processes to guarantee accuracy and safety. Conduct patient assessments and provide counseling on medication therapies. Implement and monitor utilization review processes to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain inventory management systems to ensure adequate stock levels of medications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop acute pain management strategies. Provide guidance and training to pharmacy staff on best practices in patient care. Stay updated on advancements in pharmacology, physiology, and pediatrics to enhance service delivery. Experience Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a focus on patient care and acute care environments. Strong knowledge of medical management principles and utilization review processes. Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices within a pharmacy context. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. A valid pharmacist license is required, along with any additional certifications relevant to the role.
