Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract in the Marietta, GA area, supporting an infusion center in Duluth, GA (greater Atlanta region). This role offers flexible weekday shifts and requires an immediate start around late April or early May.

Key Responsibilities:

Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely Monitor patient medication compliance and usage patterns Ensure medicine supply and prescribing follows legal and safety standards Maintain confidential and precise patient and pharmacy records Advise patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions Compound medications, including preparation of sterile solutions following established protocols Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory Identify and communicate drug-related patient issues with healthcare providers Oversee monitoring and cleaning of sterile compounding areas Ensure staff competency in all aspects of sterile compounding, including compliance with cleaning, garbing, testing, training, and compounding procedures Collaborate with pharmacists to maintain adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active Georgia pharmacist license in-hand (required) Previous experience in IV/infusion pharmacy preferred Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and standards Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy staff effectively

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Flexible shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM This contract offers a dynamic role within a collaborative infusion pharmacy setting.
