Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A high-volume mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist with 2-3 years of pharmacy experience to support medication verification and dispensing operations. The pharmacy fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily, utilizing Wellsky as the order entry system without automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties. Conduct final verification of filled prescriptions, ensuring accuracy of medication, directions, and prescription details against hard copies. Collaborate within a fast-paced environment to maintain medication safety and compliance. Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism throughout all interactions.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active pharmacist license in good standing. 2-3 years of experience working in a high-volume retail, specialty, or mail order pharmacy setting. Comfort working with manual verification processes and order entry systems (specifically Wellsky preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive work ethic.
Location:
Smyrna, GA.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM. 40 hours per week.
Additional Details:
Contract role, approximately 13 weeks, with potential contract-to-hire option. No on-call responsibilities. Immediate start available.
