Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients, and be a full time pharmacist at this location. We are a Pharmacy of 4, Vienna will be the main location, however may need to work at other locations occasionally. Every 5th Saturday on rotation in Warner Robins.Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee medication dispensing, compounding, and inventory management
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients and offer medication counseling
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Must be good with computers.
- Previous experience in a retail or independent setting recommended.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, patient service, and medical management
- Familiarity with utilization management, emergency room procedures, and acute pain management
