Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This role is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist experienced in hospital inpatient settings to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This 13-week contract opportunity requires a detailed-oriented professional to ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient safety within the hospital pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient hospital patients Review and verify prescriptions and medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy Monitor drug therapies and provide clinical recommendations as needed Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy Knowledge of medication dispensing in a hospital setting Strong understanding of patient safety and pharmacy regulations Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
