Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract opportunity based in Pocahontas, IA. This role focuses on Long Term Care pharmacy duties and requires a commitment of 13+ weeks. The schedule primarily follows a Monday to Friday routine, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with some weekend shifts required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive Long Term Care pharmacy services Dispense medications accurately and efficiently Counsel patients and caregivers on medication regimens Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Iowa Pharmacist License or Temporary Iowa License required Immunization Certification preferred CPR Certification is an asset Prior experience in Long Term Care or specialty pharmacy settings is beneficial Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
