This contract role offers a steady Monday through Friday day shift schedule and an immediate start, providing a stable work routine in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Location:
Based in the Boise, ID area, with work at a 40-bed rehab hospital setting.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations. Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care. Conduct pharmacokinetic evaluations and provide expert consultations. Utilize Cerner healthcare information systems to manage medication records and workflows.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain licensure promptly. Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in an acute or rehab care setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication therapy management. Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic medical record systems. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
