Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical hospital staff pharmacist opportunity is available to support inpatient care in a fast-paced hospital environment in Des Plaines, IL. This contract position involves a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension, working rotating first and second shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services within the inpatient hospital setting Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management Monitor and review medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system to document and communicate patient care activities Support oncology medication protocols if applicable to patient population
Qualifications:
Active Illinois pharmacy license required Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly desired Oncology pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is a plus This contract offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting supporting high-quality patient care with skilled clinical pharmacy teams.
