Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical hospital staff pharmacist position is available for a 13-week contract with potential extension. This role involves providing expert pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital setting, supporting patient care through medication management and clinical consultation. Location Evanston, Illinois Schedule / Hours Rotating shifts: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 10:00 PM) Rotating weekends Responsibilities Ensure accurate dispensing and management of medications in the inpatient setting Participate in clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy review and patient safety monitoring Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes Utilize Cerner electronic medical records system for documentation and order verification Support oncology patient medication management when applicable Desired Experience & Qualifications Active Illinois pharmacy license required Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred Oncology pharmacy experience considered a significant asset Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records is a plus Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift environment including weekends This contract opportunity is well-suited for pharmacists interested in expanding their clinical expertise within a dynamic hospital environment.
