$150,000 $160,000 per year Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead operations at a new retail pharmacy location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing pharmacy staff to deliver safe and effective patient care. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services in a retail pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and legal compliance Dispense medications and ensure correct dosing and labeling Oversee pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates Lead, supervise, and schedule pharmacy technicians and support staff Provide guidance, coaching, and performance input for pharmacy team members Maintain accurate patient medication records and profiles Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state, federal, and local pharmacy regulations Deliver patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and operational efficiency Collaborate with healthcare providers to support optimal patient outcomes
