Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This position offers an opportunity to serve as a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist in a dynamic inpatient hospital environment located in North Chicago, IL. You will play a vital role in ensuring optimal medication management through direct patient care and collaboration with healthcare teams across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities include:

Managing drug therapy to improve patient outcomes in an inpatient setting Participating in clinical rounds and providing recommendations based on patient-specific factors Monitoring medication regimens, dosing adjustments, and adverse drug reactions Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Utilizing Cerner electronic health records for documentation and order verification Working weekends on a rotating schedule

Schedule:

Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM Rotating weekends 13-week contract with potential extension Qualifications and desired experience: Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois required Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience preferred Oncology clinical experience highly desirable Experience with Cerner electronic health systems considered a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital inpatient environment This contract offers the chance to work in a supportive clinical environment that values pharmacist expertise in improving patient care.
