Job Description:

+ Review prescriptions for accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. + Direct pharmacy workers in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. + Provide information to customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage. + Maintain quality assurance procedures and security of controlled substances. + Enter data such as patient names, prescribed medications, and costs into pharmacy files. + Assay medications to verify identity, purity, and strength. + Instruct interns and other medical personnel on pharmacy practices. Essential Skills + Must be licensed in IL and include license number on resume. + 0-2 years of experience (internship counts!) + Ability to multitask effectively. + Excellent communication skills. + Self-motivation and ambition to learn and grow in the role.
