This role involves providing expert pharmaceutical services to ensure safe and effective medication use while delivering exceptional customer care.
Location:
Palatine, IL Schedule:
Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (specific dates in September 2026)
Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute medications prescribed by healthcare practitioners Offer clear, professional guidance to customers regarding medication usage, side effects, and safety Maintain a strong focus on superior customer service and patient care Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to support patient health outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Illinois Pharmacist License is required Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly preferred Strong communication skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered service This position offers flexibility as a Per Diem role, ideal for pharmacists seeking to supplement their professional experience while maintaining control over their schedule.
