Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will work a rotating schedule covering first and second shifts, contributing to high-quality medication management and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.
Location:
Waukegan, IL Schedule:
Rotating first shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and second shift (2:30 PM - 10:00 PM) Rotating weekends 13-week contract with potential for extension
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital environment Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective medication therapy management Utilize Cerner electronic medical record system to document and support clinical decisions Monitor patient responses to medications, including oncology treatments if applicable Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Illinois pharmacy license Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience Oncology experience preferred Experience working with Cerner electronic medical records system is a plus This role offers the chance to apply your clinical pharmacy expertise in a hospital setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes. Compensation for this position ranges from $62.00 to $69.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
