Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Travel Are you a PGY1 residency-trained pharmacist ready to transition into a travel role and further build your inpatient experience? A 250-bed community hospital in northern Indiana is seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment with the option to extend. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-rounded acute care setting and gain hands-on clinical experience in a collaborative environment.
Location:
Northern Indiana - a welcoming community setting with convenient access to nearby regional cities, dining, and outdoor recreation.
Assignment Details Duration:
13 weeks (option to extend)
Schedule:
4x10-hour shifts per week
Shift:
1:00 PM - 10:30 PM (second shift) Potential alternate schedule: 7 on / 7 off may be considered Duties Inpatient Responsibilities Verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapy management Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Participate in daily inpatient clinical pharmacy operations
Qualifications:
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD Recent completion of PGY1 Pharmacy Residency training preferred 2+ years of acute care hospital experience Active Indiana Pharmacist License Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Why This Opportunity?
