Job Description

Night shift; 7 days on, 7 days off Performs daily responsibilities that help fulfill the hospital's mission statement. Reviews, interprets, and enters/verifies orders in the patient medication profiles in the electronic medical record. Dispenses medication and verifies accurate compounding and distribution of medications by Pharmacy Technicians. Participates in clinical activities on a rotational basis. Participates in daily performance improvement activities. Intervenes and follows up with appropriate professional staff when indicated. Maintains confidentiality of all data, procedures, records, forms, reports and any other sensitive information. Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned.
Position Qualifications Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Pharmacy Preferred Experience:
Experience preferable; a new graduate who has completed an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) as part of the academic program is acceptable.
Certifications Required:
Current license as a registered pharmacist issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
