Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy setting at a community hospital. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with additional coverage every other Saturday, providing a well-structured workweek in a professional environment.

North Judson, IN (local candidates preferred)
Job Type:
Contract Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours/week) Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Fill and verify orders accurately, ensuring all technician-prepared products meet quality standards before release Maintain the security and proper handling of pharmacy medications, including controlled substances Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the system Participate in a 3-day training/orientation before starting
Qualifications:
Active Indiana Pharmacist license required Proven retail pharmacy experience required Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system preferred Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Professional business casual appearance required This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking a reliable contract position with a reputable community pharmacy.
