Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established 250-bed community hospital in Northern Indiana is seeking a skilled pharmacist for a rewarding 13-week assignment with the possibility to extend. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative inpatient environment while supporting patient care in a vital regional health setting.
Location:
Mishawaka, IN Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week Second shift: 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm Possible 7 days on, 7 days off schedule may be available
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and quality Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and best practices Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to optimize patient outcomes Support safe, effective inpatient pharmacy operations Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist license in the state of Indiana or eligibility to obtain one Prior inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary medical team This assignment is ideal for a pharmacist interested in travel opportunities, flexible scheduling, and making a positive impact within a community hospital setting.
