UnitedRx is a closed-door pharmacy serving long-term care facilities and their patients
Position:
Pharmacist Primary Responsibilities:
Determine the objectives of various departments; plan, organize, and direct general pharmacy policies and procedures Responsible for the practice of pharmacy at the Lenexa, KS facility, including monitoring and staying in compliance with all State, Federal and local rules and regulations Communicate and educate tech staff on pharmacy-related issues, including, but not limited to pharmacy procedures, regulatory changes, etc Serve as a primary source of information and respond to internal and external customer questions or clarifications of information Maintain a good rapport with all customers and vendors, promoting a standard of outstanding customer service among yourself and your staff Provide oversight and supervision of all employees Review new prescriptions and evaluate patient histories Provide accurate review and dosing of complex orders with pharmacokinetic calculations and TPN monitoring Consult with nurses and physicians regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions Conduct quality assurance and verify the accuracy of all prescriptions Other duties as assigned
Shift:
Day and Evening shifts with
Weekends Salary:
Based on experience.

K Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:
B.S. Pharm or Pharm D. degree required Valid Kansas license in good standing - additional states a plus Self-motivated and strong leadership skills The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork and team-building skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
