Rural Central Kansas Schedule:
Part-Time | Flexible Schedule About Us We are a group of independently owned community pharmacies serving patients throughout rural Central Kansas. Our pharmacies are dedicated to providing personalized care, building meaningful patient relationships, and supporting the health of the communities we serve. We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused pharmacist to join our team as a Floating Pharmacist. This position provides coverage across multiple pharmacy locations and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and making a positive impact in small-town communities. Qualifications Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy Active Kansas pharmacist license in good standing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different pharmacy environments and workflows Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between pharmacy locations Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accurately review, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Counsel patients regarding prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and health-related concerns Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related issues Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies Oversee controlled substance documentation and inventory procedures Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy staff Assist with inventory management and workflow optimization Provide pharmacist coverage for vacations, leaves, and staffing needs across multiple locations Foster strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners What We Offer Competitive compensation Mileage reimbursement for eligible travel Flexible scheduling Supportive leadership team Opportunity to practice patient-centered pharmacy care Variety of work environments and communities The chance to make a meaningful difference in rural healthcare No weekends, or on call If you are looking for a rewarding pharmacy career that combines flexibility, independence, and community impact, we encourage you to apply.
