• + •The Pharmacy Intern is a student who works in a pharmacy to gain hands-on experience.

• + •What you will do in this role:•+ •Under direct supervision of a pharmacist, fills medication orders, prepares routine compounds and solutions (sterile and non-sterile), prepackages medications, stocks and maintains levels of supplies in assigned work area, prepares and files documents and other records, operates computer and answers telephone/window as needed.
• + •Performs duties of a pharmacist in accordance with rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• + •The amount and degree of autonomy progresses with each year of education.

• What Qualifications You Will Need:

• + •Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy, preferably 1st or 2nd year.
• + •Pharmacy intern registration with the State Board of Pharmacy required•+ •Six months of hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.
