Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An urgent opportunity is available for two inpatient pharmacists to provide exceptional pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This contract role starts on September 21 and extends for approximately 13 weeks. The position requires working a mix of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, offering dynamic scheduling in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee typical inpatient pharmacist duties including medication verification and dispensing Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain high standards of safety and quality in medication management Support healthcare team with clinical pharmacy expertise to optimize patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Valid Kansas pharmacist license must be held at the time of application Current BLS and ACLS certifications required First-time travelers are welcome to apply, making this accessible to a broad range of pharmacists Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
