Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established, closed-door long-term care pharmacy based in Topeka, KS, is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join their team. This pharmacy specializes in distributing medications to nursing homes and manages an impressive volume of 800-1000 prescriptions daily. With over 50 employees on site, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate in a supportive, dynamic environment. This position involves working Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM, perfect for professionals seeking a consistent part-time schedule in a thriving pharmacy setting. There is currently one opening available.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to maintain high standards of medication safety and accuracy Conduct thorough cycle checks to ensure compliance and accuracy in prescription dispensing Verify prescriptions and medication orders efficiently and accurately to support patient care Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active Kansas Pharmacist License is required Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; long-term care experience is preferred, but newer graduates and those with retail pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply Ability to start immediately to meet their urgent staffing needs
