Role Description This is a PRN/part-time on-site role for a Staff Pharmacist at the Jayhawk Pharmacy & Patient Supply in Topeka, KS. The responsibilities include dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, providing counseling to customers on medication use, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. You'll work alongside a broader clinical team, including respiratory therapists, and certified specialists in medication therapy management and hormone replacement therapy. Additional tasks involve collaborating with healthcare providers, managing inventory, and performing routine pharmacy operations to ensure patients receive optimal care. The Staff Pharmacist is also expected to provide excellent customer service and support the pharmacy team in maintaining a smooth workflow. Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in prescription verification, medication dispensing, and patient counseling
  • Proficiency in maintaining pharmacy operations, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and healthcare professionals
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure safe and accurate medication handling
  • An active pharmacist license in the state of Kansas
  • Technical proficiency with pharmacy management systems
