Located in Newport, KY, this role offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday and is offered on a contract-to-hire basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescription orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Provide pharmaceutical care by accurately processing and dispensing prescriptions. Counsel patients regarding their healthcare and medication needs to promote safe and effective medication use. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and pharmacy records. Manage controlled substances with required documentation aligned with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Clear and active Kentucky Pharmacist license. Recent experience working as a pharmacist, preferably in a mail order or similar pharmacy environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
