Clinical Pharmacist This onsite Clinical Pharmacist role focuses on providing specialized patient care in a non-retail pharmacy setting. You'll spend much of your day counseling patients by phone, reviewing therapies, and working closely with care teams to ensure the best outcomes. What You'll Do Conduct detailed reviews of patient medications (interactions, adherence, side effects, dosing, etc.) Counsel patients on therapies and answer questions (primarily phone-based) Document clinical interventions and updates in patient charts Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to coordinate patient care Provide education on medications, including injection support when needed Ensure compliance with REMS programs, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards Verify prescriptions and support accurate dispensing processes Assist with intake, patient onboarding, and ongoing care coordination Supervise and support pharmacy technicians as needed Participate in on-call coverage as required What We're Looking For Active Pharmacist license in Kentucky (or ability to obtain) 3+ years of pharmacist experience (clinical or operational) Strong patient counseling experience (phone-based preferred) Comfortable being on the phone for most of the workday (7-8 hours) Solid understanding of pharmacotherapy and clinical best practices Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work onsite within commuting distance of the facility Nice to Have Oncology experience or BCOP certification (or interest in obtaining) Experience with REMS programs Background working with multidisciplinary care teams (home health, hospice, etc.) Injection training / patient education experience Work Environment Fully onsite in Kentucky First shift schedule (training: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm ET) Non-retail, patient-focused pharmacy setting High phone interaction with patients and providers Team-oriented, collaborative environment with a focus on personalized care Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Shepherdsville, KY.
