Position Summary The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced mail-order pharmacy environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process and accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Provide pharmaceutical care and medication counseling to patients. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive health information. Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of controlled substances. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related issues. Utilize pharmacy resources and reference materials to support clinical decision-making. Support quality assurance initiatives and compliance standards. Contribute to a positive, patient-focused team environment. Required Qualifications PharmD or RPh degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing. All additional held pharmacist licenses must be active and in good standing. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Staff Pharmacist. Ability to work on-site in Southgate, Kentucky.
