Job Description
Would you like to join a not-for-profit health system that has been nationally recognized for quality of care? Four state-of-the-art acute care facilities, two surgery centers, a rehabilitation center, a nationally-recognized heart institute, and a world-class cancer center-these are only examples of what is waiting for you at Willis Knighton in north-west Louisiana. Of our four acute care facilities, all four feature pharmacies that are open 24 hours a day. Willis Knighton pharmacists function as independent professionals responsible and accountable for both pharmaceutical and clinical services. Your job will include preparation of compounds, sterile intravenous admixtures, irrigation solutions, chemotherapeutic agents and oral medications in accordance with accepted pharmacy practice, ASHP standards and all state and federal laws and regulations. The orientation is individualized to your specific needs. Our pharmacists work variable 8-hour shifts. Call to see if we have one that fits your work/life balance!
