This position requires a motivated individual licensed in Massachusetts or new graduates interested in retail pharmacy experience. The role spans 13 weeks or longer, providing consistent weekday hours ideal for those seeking a stable daytime schedule.
Location:
Boston, MA (Rehab Hospital)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Oversee medication dispensing and ensure accuracy in a rehab hospital environment Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management and documentation Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient outcomes Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current Massachusetts pharmacist license preferred New pharmacy graduates, especially those with retail experience, are encouraged to apply Familiarity with hospital IT systems such as Epic and Pyxis is an asset Strong attention to detail and dedication to patient safety Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration This contract provides a structured schedule with opportunities to apply pharmacy skills in a specialized healthcare setting.
