Pharmacist (Evening Shift)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00
AM Requirements:
Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage Position Summary The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient medication dispensing while supporting pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance. This role oversees workflow, verifies prescriptions, supervises pharmacy staff, and helps ensure quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily pharmacy operations and workflow. Verify prescription orders, labels, packaging, and dispensing accuracy. Supervise pharmacy staff and support productivity goals. Ensure compliance with state, federal, DEA, HIPAA, and company regulations. Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV medication preparation. Assist with controlled substance inventory management and documentation. Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations. Maintain timely order processing and service standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in good standing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements. Long-term care or institutional pharmacy experience preferred.
