Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A night shift Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract role offers a work schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, with hours from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support the pharmacy team. Manage pharmacokinetics services, including monitoring drug therapy and dosing adjustments. Provide expert consultation to physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems as part of daily workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist license. Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently during night shifts. Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous.
