Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Soliant has an opening for an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week or longer local contract at a respected local hospital. This is a great opportunity for a Massachusetts-based pharmacist seeking consistent contract work at a well-respected community hospital just north of Boston. 13 weeks or longer
Work Hours:
Variable Day and Afternoon Shifts — 40 hours per week
Industry:
Healthcare / Hospital Pharmacy Responsibilities Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently using EPIC Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications Utilize Pyxis automated dispensing systems for medication management throughout the facility Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout daily operations Contribute to departmental quality improvement and medication safety initiatives Experience Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Pharmacokinetics experience preferred Variable shift experience a plus Skills Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams Reliable and adaptable across variable day and afternoon shift schedules Comfortable supervising pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift Qualifications An active Massachusetts Pharmacist License is required Proficiency in EPIC and Pyxis required Soliant offers Licensing Assistance if you are not yet licensed in
