Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity exists for a dedicated pharmacist to support a busy outpatient pharmacy serving a diverse patient population. This role involves full-time coverage for a health center pharmacy, providing essential pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient counseling and pharmacy team management.

Yard 56
Pharmacy, Baltimore, MD Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Rotating Saturdays Duration:
Contract position starting June 22, for approximately 2 to 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee outpatient pharmacy operations including managing pharmacy technicians Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication use Administer vaccines and immunizations to patients Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards Utilize ScriptPro software with training provided to enhance pharmacy workflow
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is highly preferred Spanish language skills are advantageous but not mandatory Strong teamwork skills supported by pharmacy technician staff This contract role offers a chance to contribute pharmaceutical expertise within a respected health center setting, backed by a supportive team and the opportunity to impact patient wellbeing directly.
