The resident will be trained to function as an independent practitioner and work closely within a multidisciplinary environment to promote the most appropriate and cost-effective patient care. Provides leadership in formulary decisions and holds an active role in educational and scholarly activities, including completion of a major product suited for publication. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree from a recognized/accredited School/college of Pharmacy required. Graduate of a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency required.
License/Certifications:
Eligible or currently licensed in the applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
Experience:
Experience as a patient care pharmacist in an organized healthcare setting such as a hospital or home infusion pharmacy preferred.
