We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position in Bad Axe, MI, at a hospital setting where you will use clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications. This role includes medication order verification, clinical monitoring and interventions, sterile compounding (including chemotherapy), pharmacokinetic dosing, participation in interdisciplinary rounds, medication reconciliation at transitions of care, patient counseling, and supervision of pharmacy support staff. Minimum Requirements:

Active pharmacist license in the state of Michigan at time of submission. Minimum 2 years inpatient pharmacist experience required. Experience performing oncology compounding and sterile IV preparation under USP / standards required. Experience working in an anticoagulation clinic and managing 4-6 patients per day required. Experience with medication order verification, pharmacokinetic dosing, and clinical monitoring in an inpatient setting required. Ability to supervise and delegate to pharmacy technicians, interns, and students.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-volume parenterals, IV piggybacks, TPN, and chemotherapy infusion preparation preferred. Previous participation in interdisciplinary rounds and experience with transitions-of-care counseling preferred.

Assignment Details Shift hours:

06:30-17:00 Monday-Friday.

Weekend and holiday hours:

08:00-13:00.
